“Take Up the Cause of the Fatherless”

Earlier this year, we released “Teteeni Shauri La Yatima” (in English, “Take Up the Cause of the Fatherless”) Our desire was to take the message of biblical adoption and orphan care deeper into God’s word and farther throughout East Africa. By God’s grace, we’ve begun doing just that and are reaching more Africans than ever before.

4 Countries and 5 Regions

We recognized that going and preaching the word to local churches in Kilimanjaro was a good way to get the message out, but by putting the teaching into a book, we could cover multiple scriptures in depth (8 texts in all) and send the book to places that Kingdom Families couldn’t make it to. Here’s where books have gone.

  • Tanzania, Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda
  • Tanzanian regions: Arusha, Tanga, Dar-es-Salaam, Songea
  • A whole lot throughout Kilimanjaro!

Our many thanks to those have contributed funds for the publishing. Our special thanks to our African collaborators and distributors. Our first stock of books is starting to run low as more and more people receive this important material. We’d love for you to jump on board and sponsor more books to be published and circulated. You can print a book (creating paid work for Africans) for $4 a piece. Click the donate button and let us know how many books you’ll be printing to be distributed to leaders in East Africa to encourage engagement with orphans and vulnerable children in their own communities.

I am a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, living and working in Moshi, Tanzania. My wife is named Melissa and we have three children: Moses, Promise and Shepherd. We are directors over an orphan care ministry called Kingdom Families; advocating for the needs of orphans and vulnerable children and assisting families to welcome them into their homes as sons and daughters.
